We had dinner. Our purpose was to attend the basketball tournament and also, this year is our 50th wedding anniversary. Our waitress was an absolute delight. The gentleman at the desk showed us four rooms in case there was one that would work best
I would have to make something up

Beautifully restored hotel located in a really friendly area near to Baker City, Oregon, and the center. Convenient and unbeatable location, especially for me. Also, easy access to Baker Tower. Good meals for breakfast.

The breakfast was savoury, exactly what we required. We got a room with a bathtub. The location seemed marvellous and stunning in the desert.

We had a great time exploring the State tournament basketball games, just a short walk from our hotel. The 1889 Café was a cozy spot for a delicious breakfast, with friendly and attentive service. Our room had a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower. The hotel also offered a DVD player with a wide selection of movies, perfect for a movie night with the kids. Happy Hour in the bar was a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing in the mountains of Oregon.
We were disappointed that the room lacked a counter space in the bathroom for our toiletries.
